Histoire
Temple Pastures a été établi en 1954 par le révérend docteur Frank Uhlir qui est né en Moravie en 1900. Dr. Uhlir, un politicien tchèque de proéminence et qui a dû s’enfuir d’une prison communiste, a été ordonné prêtre anglican dans l’Église anglicane du Canada en 1956.
L’histoire du Dr. Uhlir, ainsi que l’histoire de la création de Temple Pastures, est écrite dans son livre intitulé The Call of the Cross.* C’était un homme fidèle et dévoué qui a été appelé à enseigner la voie du Christ. Il est mort en 1980, laissant son épouse, Joan, continuer le travail de la Mission.
Depuis 1986, Temple Pastures a opéré sous les auspices du diocèse d’Ottawa de l’Église anglicane du Canada. Sa mission est :
Être un centre fondé dans l’évangile du Christ qui accueil toute personne qui désire agrandir le règne de Dieu.

Temple Pastures was established in 1954 by the Reverend Dr. Frank Uhlir, who was born in Moravia in 1900. Dr. Uhlir, a prominent Czechoslovakian politician who escaped from a communist prison, was ordained a priest in the Anglican Church of Canada in 1956.
Dr. Uhlir's story, including the founding of Temple Pastures, is told in his book The Call of the Cross*. He was a devoted and gifted man who was called to teach others about the way of Christ. He died in 1980 leaving his wife Joan to carry on the ministry of the Mission.
